Face the approach path. Aim the sensor where animals or people are most likely to enter.
Avoid moving branches. Nearby leaves, flags or heat sources may increase unwanted activation.
Change the sound occasionally. Varying the warning may help reduce animal habituation.
Keep the panel exposed. Position the solar surface where it can receive direct daylight.
